Continua la storia mozzafiato di una rivelazione lontana da etichette e che mischia confini di generi, tra Europa, Africa e America.
ASA condivide oggi il video di “My Dear“, una live session di un nuovo inedito estratto dal disco LUCID, il suo quarto album, in uscita l’11 ottobre via Wagram.

13 tracce che esplorano tutto l’arco dei sentimenti emozionali, dal più delicato al più amaro e dal più amaro al distacco: “In a way, this album is autobiographical. Even though I am not writing about myself, they are my thoughts, including my mistakes.”.

Le canzoni di ASA sono sempre ispirate alla vita. La sua, quella dei suoi amici e le storie che ha letto sul giornale: “I take a few notes, I keep the information in me and the music eventually starts flowing…”. Alcune volte l’ispirazione arriva improvvisamente, come in Torn: “A dear friend had posted a photo on Instagram in which she looked sad. I called her and found out she was heartbroken and at the end of our conversation, she said: ” Asa, next time I will choose better who I open my heart to”. These words touched me. I was in Paris, in the midst of a heat wave, with a broken toilet, waiting for the plumber. I wrote the song and recorded the demo, belting out of the attic window. During the recording of the album, I never found the same emotion when recording in the studio with great microphones. So we kept the voice recorded in my attic of Paris.”.
