L’anima nera della musica di Hackmonocut ha di fondo una vena di malinconia, accompagnata  da ronzii, chitarre rock distorte, che danno così vita a un sound ‘noir rock” alternativo.

‘The Sum of My Parts’ è una raccolta di canzoni “oscure e selvatiche” pieni di ironia e di critica sociale, che raccontano di amore, omicidio, e la politica non riusciti.

Hackmonocut è un progetto che ha avuto inizio nel 2012 come  one man show. Un anno intenso di songwriting e home recording che si conclude  con l’uscita del suo album di debutto contenente undici tracce e intitolato  ‘In The Land Of Basement Sale hobbies’.

Il secondo album  ‘The Sum of My Parts’  è stato pubblicato il 14 agosto 2015. Le nuove tracce si concentrano di più sull’amore e l’omicidio della politica. L’album è meno “furioso” , ma offre senza compromessi scure canzoni d’alternative rock.

The dark soul of Austrian musician Hackmonocut’s music produces a feeling of melancholy, driven by humming, distorted rock guitars, creating his ‘alternative rock noir’ sound.

‘The Sum of My Parts’ is a collection of dark and feral songs full of irony and social criticism, which tell of love, murder, and failed politics.

Hackmonocut began in 2012 as a single man show. A busy year of songwriting and home recording followed, culminating in the release of his eleven track debut album ‘In The Land Of Basement Hobby Rooms’.

Second album ‘The Sum Of My Parts’ is released on 14th August 2015. The new tracks focus more on love and murder than politics. The album is rages less but offers uncompromising dark alternative rock songs.
